This substantial Antique Jambati Singing Bowl has a gracefully curved wall with a flat bottom, and a triangulated grooved lip. There are circles at its centre, and decorative bands encircling the outer rim.

The Fundamental note is a nice third octave C# (141Hz) when stuck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.

This attractive and impressive large bowl is in excellent structural condition, clean and virtually free of blemishes. 

A Tibetan silk brocade cushion and a double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
