A large top quality 19^th century Thadobati Singing Bowl with some fountain ability.   Fabulous G#3 struck and played note (204Hz), rim note changing to D5 (595/600Hz) with wooden ringer.  Excellent structural condition with great character and aesthetic appeal…heavy, thick walls, grooved lip, circles at centre, contrasting outer surfaces at midpoint, incised decorative banding and gash patterning below rim.  An outstanding bowl, with collector appeal!
