This is a superior quality antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a fabulous third octave Eb (157Hz) and a long sustain when struck.  The note is the same when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer. 

This is a particularly lovely and well-proportioned bowl.  Its walls have been superbly forged and are incredibly fine, and long use and ritual cleaning has made them sensually smooth.  It has a flat and slightly inward-sloping triangulated lip, multiple circles at its centre and decorative bands forming a collar around the outer rim.

It is in excellent structural condition, with a nice golden bronze colour, and free of stains and blemishes. 

A Tibetan silk brocade cushion, a padded striker, and a ringer are all included in the price.
