This large 11” superior quality antique Jambati Singing Bowl has has a fine low perfect pitch second octave Bb2 (116Hz) fundamental with a good sustain when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  The rim note changes to a middle F4 (355Hz) with a wooden ringer.

It has a finely-hammered full-bodied form with a rounded bottom, a level and grooved triangulated lip, with circles at its centre and decorative incised bands forming a collar around the outer rim.

Antique Jambati Singing Bowls of this size and quality are extremely hard to find, and this particular specimen is in excellent structural condition, clean and stain-free.
