Superior Quality Antique Remuna Singing Bowl – Incredibly Powerful Penetrating B5

This is a superior quality antique Remuna Singing Bowl with two superb voices both of which are close to perfect pitch.  The fundamental is a middle octave F4 (348Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  The rim note changes to an incredibly powerful and penetrating fifth octave B5 (985-990Hz) with a long sustain with a wooden ringer.

This bowl is thicker and heavier than usual, and more highly decorated too.  It has a deeply grooved lip, circles at the centre and high up inside the wall, as well as decorative bands encircling the outer body at intervals, and there are even circles underneath. 

It’s a very attractive antique bowl that is structurally sound, clean and virtually free of stains and blemishes.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
