This is a superior quality rare Antique Lingam Singing Bowl with a perfect pitch middle D fundamental (294 – 298Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.   A wooden ringer will produce G#6 (1267Hz) and A5 (855Hz) harmonics.

This bowl is beautifully proportioned with, in my opinion, the perfect weight to size ratio. It has a grooved lip, a decorative band of dots around the outer rim with lines below.  There is a superb pointed lingam at its centre, surrounded and defined by concentric circles, and a matching yoni or navel underneath.

This lovely bowl is in excellent structural condition, free of stains and blemishes, and with light patches of copper oxidization adding surface interest to the outer wall.

 A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion and a double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
