A fabulous set of 4 very large matched antique Lingam singing bowls…two with perfect concert pitch, and two very close.  The 4 bowls are as follows:

1. 10¼-inch Superior Antique Lingam F#3 (185Hz) Perfect Pitch 2.11 kilos (4 lb 10½ oz)

2. 10¼-inch Superior Antique Lingam G#3 (207Hz) Perfect Pitch 2.17 kilos (4 lb 12½ oz)

3. 9¾-inch Superior Antique Lingam A3 (221Hz) Close Concert Pitch 2.06 kilos (4 lb 8¾ oz)

4. 10¼-inch Superior Antique Lingam B3 (241Hz) Close Concert Pitch 2.1 kilos (4 lb 7 oz)

This is a rare matched set of large antique Lingam Singing Bowls…bowls of a similar premium quality, size, weight, condition, physical form and tonality.  In other words bowls that look and sound as though they might have come from the same forge and were made as a set with notes corresponding to the western chromatic scale.

Obviously this was not the case, nor would it ever be, but on seeing and hearing this set one might be forgiven for thinking otherwise.  The truth is, like all chakra or chromatic sets, they have been individually selected from randomly sourced bowls over an extended period of time, perhaps years, and expertly assembled into a set.  However, we believe that these bowls originally formed part of the private collection of one of our Tibetan bowl dealers.

These four bowls correspond to the following chakras respectively – Heart (4), Throat (5), Third Eye (6), and Crown (7).

I would prefer to sell this rare Lingam set of 4 in its entirety, but would consider subtracting one bowl to make a set of 3.   The bowls are supplied with 4 Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushions, a large padded striker and a suede ringer.  The price is for the set of 4 bowls described above.
