A small antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a good strong pulsating voice…a low third octave fundamental E note whether struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a ringer.  It is very responsive and easy to play.

This bowl is perfectly proportioned with its classical Jambati form and features, including an inward-facing lip, decorative banding just below the rim, and concentric circles on the inside floor.  It is also nicely balanced in terms of its weight to size ratio.

This old hand-forged bowl is in excellent physical condition and virtually free of blemishes and stains.  It has very attractive hammer marks and a rather unusual dark bronze colour.  A brocade bowl cushion and a double-ended teak and suede ringer are included in the price.
