Tibetan Thadobati Singing Bowl – Lovely Sound & Long Sustain
SOLD
Tibetan Thadobati Singing Bowl. G and C notes (Throat & Root Chakras)
Weight 1 lb 11 ¼ oz (775g). 18 x 9 ½ cm (approx. 7 x 3 ¾ inches)
This is a medium to large high-walled antique Tibetan Thadobati singing bowl with an exceptionally nice struck note with a long sustain. Its fine thin walls makes relatively light and easy to hold and play for an extended period. The fundamental note is a lovely third octave G with a subtle third octave F sharp harmonic, while the rim note is a good fifth octave C.
Altogether a very nice sounding bowl in good condition for its age. A double-ended teak and suede ringer is included in the price.
