This is a nice little antique lingam bowl in clean condition.  It has a grooved lip, a pretty lingam at its centre and a nice navel underneath.

This bowl dates from around 1900, possibly earlier, and features a decorative band of small dots around the outer rim, and several lines encircling the bowl that have since become faint with the passage of time.   

This pretty bowl is a responsive and easy to play.  It fits in the palm of the hand and would comfortably slip in a pocket.  The fundamental note is a nice middle A (454Hz) whether struck or played around the rim.   A teak and suede ringer is included in the price.
