This tiny antique Lingam Singing Bowl is utterly unique and is a personal favourite.  Apart from the rarity of its small size It has a rounded bottom and shallow form and features a very unusual and wide flanged and grooved lip.  At its centre there is a neat button lingam surrounded and defined by circles, with a matching navel or yoni underneath.  It also has decorative bands encircling its belly.

Furthermore, it is extremely responsive and easy to play and fits comfortably in the palm of the hand.  It has an exceptional perfect pitch fifth octave F#5 (740Hz) fundamental when struck with a hard mallet or played around the rim with a wooden ringer.

This rare lingam bowl has been superbly crafted and is in excellent structural condition, clean and free of stains and blemishes, and will no doubt appeal to collectors of rare small bowls.
