These two sets of antique Tibetan Tingsha have been cast in a bronze alloy and are the original matched pairs.  They carry an inscription or mantra on the top of each piece.

 

 

Both sets produce high sixth octave G6 notes (1524Hz and 1555Hz) with harmonic overtones.   They are supplied uncleaned ‘as found’ with an aged patina.  They would benefit from restringing in leather. 

 

Tingsha are pairs of small cymbals used in Tibetan Buddhist prayers and rituals.  They are sometimes used in meditation practices to help focus the mind.  Antique sets are now quite rare and sought-after.
