These two sets of antique Tibetan Tingsha have been cast in a bronze alloy and are the original matched pairs.

 

 

They both produce high sixth and seventh octave notes with harmonic overtones.   The smaller set is E7 (2660Hz) and the larger is G#6 (1641Hz).  They are supplied uncleaned as found and have an aged patina, and would benefit from restringing in leather. 

 

Tingsha are pairs of small cymbals used in Tibetan Buddhist prayers and rituals.  They are sometimes used in meditation practices to help focus the mind.  Antique sets are now quite rare and sought-after.
