This small antique singing bowl really has the wow factor…combining fabulous looks with two stunning voices! 

Unlike some small bowls this one rests steadily on the palm of the hand thanks to its unusually flat bottom, and it is extremely responsive and easy to play.   This is such a pretty bowl, as can be seen from the photos.  Its fine hammer-mottled walls are especially attractive.  It is in excellent and clean condition.

The fundamental note is a really lovely third octave B whether struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.  A wooden ringer adds a pretty harmonic, a fifth octave F, and the two notes sing beautifully together!  And finally, surprisingly, it makes excellent fountains if filled halfway with water and played around the rim.

A gem of a bowl, and undoubtedly one of the prettiest and best sounding in my entire collection!
