This rare and beautiful antique Thadobati Singing Bowl has the tallest height to width ratio I have come across in over 30 years of collecting…and one of the finest voices!  It is extremely responsive and easy to play, and its middle D fundamental (301Hz) is simply superb. The note is the same whether struck or played around the rim.

It has a very lovely and graceful form that sits comfortably in the hand for playing, while the sound seems to escape from the inside. 

It has been skilfully forged, with walls of a consistent thickness, and has an extremely rare inward-sloping lip.

It is structurally sound and has a lovely mustard golden bronze colour with an aged patina, and the look and feel of antiquity.

Simply a unique and beautiful old bowl with a fabulous voice to match!  I doubt you will see another like it!
