Unusual Small Singing Bowl – G5 (788Hz) Throat Chakra

Weight 290 grams (0 lb 10¼ oz).   Size 4 x 2 inches (10 x 5 cm)

This is interesting little singing bowl dates from the second half of the 20^th century.  It has an attractive contrasting outer surface, a flanged and grooved lip, decorative circles inside and underneath, and also around the outer wall. 

The struck note, or fundamental, is a fifth octave G (788-802Hz).  The rim note ranges from G5 to an extremely high seventh octave B (4050Hz) according to the type of ringer employed, suede or wood.  This little bowl fits snugly in the hand, and is in excellent condition.
