A superb Balinese carving of the elephant-headed and four-armed Hindu deity Lord Ganesh.  It is beautifully carved in mahogany and has lots of fine detail.

 

The condition is very good, no cracks or splits, but there is some faint water mottling on the back which appears to be in the surface polish, and could probably be removed.

 

This carving displays very well and looks great from any angle.
