Large 10 ¾” Jambati Singing Bowl – G#2 & D5

This Jambati Singing Bowl has two very nice voices…a low second octave G#2 (105Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or (103Hz) when played around the rim with a suede ringer, and a powerful fifth octave D (600/603Hz when played with a wooden ringer.

It’s a well-forged straight-sided bowl dating from the mid 20th century, with even walls and a level cut lip. There are circles at its centre, and a smooth band encircling the outer rim contrasts with the slightly textured hammered surface below.  It is structurally sound and clean, with an attractive golden bronze colour.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, a padded mallet and a ringer are all included in the price.
