A Heavy Large 11” Antique Jambati Singing Bowl – Perfect Pitch Eb3 & Long Sustain

This is a heavy large 11” Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with a perfect pitch third octave Eb3 fundamental (155Hz) when handheld and struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer.   It has an excellent long sustain after striking, and a pronounced pulse or beat when played.

It has a gently curved form with fairly boldly hammered walls, a wide triangulated lip with decorative bands encircling the outer rim, and circles at its centre.

This substantial antique Jambati singing bowl is structurally sound and blemish free, with an attractive hammered surface and a dark matt bronze colour.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, padded striker, and 2 ringers are all included in the price.
