Small 8” Jambati Singing Bowl – 2 Concert Pitch Voices!

This attractive small mid 20th century Jambati Singing Bowl has a virtually concert pitch third octave C fundamental (135Hz) when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer, and a perfect concert pitch middle (4th) octave G when played with a wooden ringer.

This is a nicely forged bowl with attractive hammer markings below a smooth banded collar, and there are circles at its centre.  It has a nice golden bronze colour, is structurally sound, clean, and free of stains and blemishes.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, a small padded striker and a ringer are all included in the price.
