Superior Quality 9 ½” Golden Antique Jambati Singing Bowl – Fabulous Eb3 (157Hz)

This is a superior quality Antique Jambati Singing Bowl with very fine hand-beaten walls that have been worn sensually smooth with use over the passage of time.  It is therefore light for its size and comfortable to hold and play for an extended period.  It has a plain triangulated lip and decorative bands forming a collar around the outer rim.

The fundamental note is a fabulous third octave Eb (157Hz) that is close to concert pitch when struck with a padded mallet or played around the rim with a suede ringer. The rim note changes to a middle Bb4 (476Hz) if played with a wooden one.

This older antique Jambati singing bowl is in excellent and clean structural condition.  It has a lovely golden bronze colour with some light patches of copper oxidization here and there.  A really lovely bowl!
