Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl.  Note: F#4 (Heart Chakra)
Weight 435 grams (0 lb 15 oz).   Size 15 x 5 cm (5 ¾ x 2 inches) 

This small superior quality Antique Manipuri Singing Bowl is relatively thick and heavy for its size.  It has a smooth wall and  features a slightly flared grooved rim, with circles at its centre and high up on the inner wall.

This bowl is best played with a wooden ringer.  The fundamental note is a perfect pitch F#4 (370Hz) when struck or played around the rim.

It is in excellent structural condition, clean, with some light copper oxidization inside. It a very attractive bowl with a rich golden bronze colour.

A small ringer is included in the price.
