This is a beautifully crafted and very rare trapezoid Lingam Singing Bowl with a grooved flanged lip, a flat bottom, and multiple decorative lines around most of its external wall. There is a fabulous Lingam (with an eye-spot) at its centre surrounded and defined by boldly incised circles. A pair of decorative lines also encircle the bowl’s inner rim.
The struck and played notes alternate between C#5 (557Hz) and D5 (573Hz) and are sometimes accompanied by F5 snd Bb5 harmonics.
This very rare antique trapezoid Lingam Singing Bowl is in great condition.
