2 Antique Himalayan Temple Handbells – Nice A6 and B6 Notes

Two antique Himalayan priests handbells cast in a bronze alloy by the lost wax method and therefore each is a unique one-off item.

The smaller handbell features a trident on a twisted handle.  The rung note is a nice 6th octave A6 (1800Hz).

The larger handbell features two popular praying deities.  On the left the mythical Garuda bird with outstretched wings, and on the right Hanuman the monkey God.  Five protective snakes (nagas) fan out behind them.  A ring is built into the back of the deities for hanging.  The rung note is a nice sixth octave B6 (1929Hz).

Both bells are well used but structurally sound. They are supplied ‘as found’ and would be much improved with a clean.  They have an aged patina and the look of antiquity.  The price is for both bells.
