Exceptionally Rare Antique Singing Bowl – F#4 & G4

This rare antique singing bowl has an extraordinary shape…a shape that is more easily understood by looking at the pictures than my feeble attempt to describe it in words.  Of particular interest are its highly unusual rim and lip, and the multiple decorative bands that cover all of its sloping outer surface.  There are also circles at its centre.

The fundamental note when struck or played ranges from a middle F# to middle G (374Hz to 385Hz) depending upon where on the wall it is struck and the type of ringer employed.

This unique bowl is in excellent structural condition for its age.  It has a fabulous antique bronze colour and the patina of antiquity.

A Tibetan silk brocade bowl cushion, a striker and a ringer are all included in the price.
