Good Quality Contemporary Bhutanese Carved Wood Phurba

This is a nice quality contemporary carved wood phurba from Bhutan.  It depicts the crowned heads of 3 deities, the topmost being Buddha, mounted in a column above a conical fluted point or blade.

It has been expertly carved from a single piece of wood and stained black with flecks of gold.  It is in its original perfect unused condition, and therefore might suit someone who would rather not use a second-hand phurba associated with a former practitioner.

Phurba are ritual shamanic tools used for transformation, healing and protection.
