Good Quality Contemporary Cast Bronze Shaman Phurba

This interesting contemporary cast bronze shaman phurba from Bhutan features the 3 faces of a wrathful deity wearing a skull headdress and a bear crown.  It has a dorje hilt with skulls and endless knot, and a makara (mythical sea creature) above a 3-sided blade with entwined snakes.

A good quality cast with well defined features and in excellent condition.  Phurba are ritual tools used by shaman for transformation, healing and protection.
