Topeng Jauk Manis

A vintage mask, circa 1991, by the renowned Balinese mask carver Wayan Tangguh of Singapadu (20 x 16 cm).  Carved in Pule Wood and painted with natural pigments mixed with ground bone, it features Mother-of-Pearl shell teeth, human hair beard, and monkey fur hair, mustache, and eyebrows.  Personally purchased directly from the carver at his home, where he signed it on the back in Balinese.  Excellent condition, and very collectable.
