Beautiful Antique Tibetan Multi-Strand Glass Bead Necklace

This stunning Tibetan antique multi-stand glass bead necklace was found in an antique shop in Kathmandu, and was purchased as a gift for my daughter, who later unfortunately decided it wasn’t suitable.

It comprises thousands of tiny hand-made multi-coloured glass beads threaded into 30 strands that just slip over the head.  The stands could hang straight as in the photos, or be twisted. 

Incredibly, there are between 22 and 24 tiny beads to the inch.  They vary in size, shape and colour, but are predominantly red, orange, brown, yellow ochre, and yellow, with a smattering of black, blue, and white.  The general overall colour is a deep red/orange.

This fabulous one-of-a-kind antique Tibetan necklace is in perfect condition.
